Our Holley needed to be jetted down a couple sizes, but even so, stock, it runs really well out-of-the-box w/ an Edelbrock Performer 4bbl manifold.
The stock secondary springs are too stiff for the vacuum signature of a near-stock AMC 360. The 670cfm carb is borderline too much carb for a near-stock AMC 360cid, but Holley sells a really cool tune-up kit w/ a variety of springs and jets. Thus, the TruckAvenger can be made to work with a 360 handily. It takes a bit of fiddling and tinkering, but I don't mind.
I had to enrich the mixture as well, the carb was a bit too lean from the factory, but on the highway, the truck gets pretty decent MPG.
Stop-an-go is a real MPG killer. I'd estimate our is Hwy 13-15MPG, City 8MPG.
Up/down the steep German hills, the TruckAvenger/360 just chugs away, no worries. I've even gotten into a couple odd off-camber spots whilst two-tracking, and the carb didn't miss a beat.
