Steering Damper

Replaced original steering damper on my 88 GW with a new Gabriel damper from Auto Zone...$30. Time to replace - 20 minutes, start to finish. No noticeable difference in the steering...

My 88 is very comfortable at 60 mph - anything above 65-70 mph feels like it's pushing it. Plus it doesn't help to have a glass pac muffler installed - this will be coming off soon.

Had the same thing happen on my 88 GW - the horseshoe connector on top of the coil had cracked and intermittently the engine would cut out...but start right back up. Check that first.

Check the clip pigtail clip on top of the coil - same thing happend to me about 2 months ao - the clip was broken in half. Fixed for $5.
