I thought all FSJ's with the 727 had a lockup converter? It's a mechanical lockup, though, not an electric. Only locks in 3rd gear and only at X RPM.

I just did this swap into a 1989 Grand Wagoneer. No body lift, just SOA/SF with 1" over stock Crown Auto springs....
