Just pUt in new u-joints is all. It looks like we will end up notching the cross member. It won't take much, but we will end up notching for clearance when the truck flexes.

The flag shifter from an NP229 equipped will work...

The flag shifter from an NP229 equipped will work as well. My son used one when he switched from an NP229 to an NP208. It was a direct swap.

Vacuum Disconnect Dana 44 Exploded View

Anyone have an exploded view for the Vacuum Disconnect Dana 44 handy? I am trying to determine which seal I need to get. The drivers side (Side with the disconnect) is leaking.

Technically it makes sense to me as it staggers the seam of the ends of the seal away from the block/cap joint. It's a trick Chebbie guys use and was just curious if anyone had tried it on a AMC...
