They got better and better basically until they were replaced by the 6.5 in '93. I had an oddball '93 6.2 leftover and it ran great until the crank broke. I used the dieselplace forum for help on...

I would double check the timing, I'm pretty sure mine changed when converting to the TFI cap and rotor, so I had to readjust it.

Not sure on your Holley, but on the stock Motorcraft carb a blown...

They were all 727's behind the V8, 80 up, the only difference being is that some had lockup torque converter, some didn't. Usually went along with the factory tow package that it didn't have locking...

I've tried all kinds of expensive polishes and what not, and never had much luck. Might have to do some kind of power buffing, I think that's the next option, albeit I haven't tried it myself.

I know its not a solution in your case with a longbed, but on my shortbed, I used the cables from a longbed and it worked perfectly. Maybe there is a similar longer cable out there that will work if...

Don't forget the new springs will be very stiff and resist lean as well. I personally consider track bars only a necessity for coil spring suspensions that have no inherent resistant to side-to-side...

My first guess before I read you'd heard from others is the ignition module. Textbook symptoms, although its not guaranteed. Most people, myself included, always carry a spare anyway, if you were...

Not stock at least, but I wouldn't take a chance anyway. Fullsize GM is the closest crossover to the FSJ 74+ and I've only seen straight pitmans stock. Its pretty cheap to buy a new DPA anyway, all...

I had a NA 6.2 in a 1993 Sierra, and it ran great towards the end, I had it tuned well enough to throw around a k2500 4x4 extended cab around as well as I would compare to a TBI 305.

Unfortunately,...

Unfortunately I just tossed a pile of them I had laying around, but I would imagine a driveshaft from a S-10 Blazer, either 2 or 4 door, might be a real close match. I believe they had the same slip...

Did you look around the seal? I've had that happen, and its been due to age/seal failure and the whole clutch eventually was a bit loose on the shaft. Once the oil seeps out, its only a matter of...
