This is going to be a trail rig up here in the coast range of oregon. I wouldn't say it will never see the street but I have plenty of other DDs so traffic and road ability isn't a concern.

I had the same problem. Turned out to be the nut...
I had the same problem. Turned out to be the nut that hooks the fuel supply hard line to the back of the carb had loosened up consequently not delivering enough fuel under full load.

I have had more trouble with electric pumps...never understood why mechanicals were so bad - except for FI necessities.

I have located an HP 60 that I think I will snap...
I have located an HP 60 that I think I will snap up. This will change plans in that I will need to ditch the 241c and find an amc208 & 518. Might change over to blazer springs with reverse shackles...
