I won't use a after market timing cover unless I have to. You are better off using a used one. Why did you change it out?
Also, did you correct the oil passages through the new timing set?

Those specs look about right. 1.800"...
Those specs look about right. 1.800" installed height and around 100# on the seat. I think the lighter ones may have been around 80# on the seat.
