That might possibly work. I would just get a Lokar 700R4 kickdown cable and install it. That way you won't have to rebuild a transmission again.

The J10 used the same rear axle with the Quadra-trac as it did with the Dana 20. You won't need to change your rear axle.

The one in my 1976 J10 (258/T18/D20) seems like it's huge too, I can't measure until I get back home but 4.5 inches seems right, it's very large.

Early Side Marker Housings Now Available at BJ's Off-Road!!

We finally have these early side marker housings. These fit the front of 1972-1978 FSJ's (they will fit all 1972-91 FSJ's but are only OE correct for 1972-78) and the rear of 1974-1983...

Except the reasons above. Ubolts are rolled threads so they won't properly torque down a second time.

Whell studs are cut threads so they will.

Don't reuse them. It's cheap insurance
