well i pulled the trans tunnel cover and its identical to the th400 in my 79 chero and its deffinatly a QT but my question is. is it possible to mate a th400 to a SBC WITHOUT an adapter?

i run 33s on my CC bone stock....but for what you entend to do with it i would go with the 4 inch so you dont have to deal with all the steering issues just bolt the lift on and :drivin::fsj:
