My alternator is either 37amp or 55 amp. I'm going to be running EFI and potentially HEI.

When I was down there installing the AN fittings and fuel filter that was given to me, I noticed the line that was hose clamped to the pickup at the tank could rotate....

I can probably just stick a 3/8" barb T where my under hood fuel filter is on the firewal and snake a line of the hose up through the cowl vent. Won't even have to cut a line. Easy peasy.

No. The pickup hard metal tube is still stock. Everything from the pickup nipple at the top of the tank onward is new 6 AN hose.
