Tailgate trim

The tailgate chrome trim is held on with some aggressive clips. I have a video on my youtube chan showing them.

As I get my truck ready for paint, I'm going to take a stab at re-doing the hood ornament.

The chrome has badly flaked, causing the aluminum to oxidize. That's relatively easy to fix.

I ended up removing mine fully and plan to paint them body color. I cut the front edge at an angle to avoid the sharp angle. I think it'll look ok.

I swapped seats in from a Grand Cherokee from 1999. Took some welding to make a frame that fit, but got it done. Wired and all. Will plan on matching the color to the rest of the truck.
