Yeah I had a time with my exhaust manifolds too. Thought heads were bad.

Got new bolts, used some oil on them and a torque wrench and fixed it proper lol.

Can make a good one out of both of them possibly if it has t been trashed other then rust.

It was hard the first time. But when you know how to do it it isnt all that bad. I dont know how much different yours would be to my 87GW. Like a puzzle but with a drill.
