looks like I might be SOL. The GM wiper motor grounds through the switch while the Ford style powers through the switch. :mad:

should be the standard bumper bolts. Look up Bumper Bolts on www.summitracing.com. You can get Stainless, Polished Stainless or Chrome Steel.

The 65 wiring is based off the GM wiring and here is a description of how it works. Looking for something similar for the 1980 so I can get them connected....

OK so I am installing the final parts of my 1965 dash into my 1980 J10. I have the Speedhut gauges ready to go in and I figured out the 65 heater blower switch wiring...

not sure if you scrapped it yet. Does it have a tilt column? If so I really need the white plastic gear indicator, but if necessary could take the whole column. Let me know.

surfwangoneer, I have less than $200 into the brand new tank, pickup unit and straps. I didn't want to spend a ton of money and this should work out pretty good.
