are the door drains blocked up with crud? IIRC there are 3 or 4 of them, also be sure to have the plastic barrier between the door and the cardboard door panel sealed properly

its the same switch as the door windows believe it or not, you can probably clean it out goo and it will work but i would throw a known good one or search the forum for the toggle switch modification
