I went to a local industrial supply and picked up hose used for gas pumps, when I replaced all the fuel lines/hoses on the wag. They sold it by the ft.

thats shiny, used to run them on my old chevys, dial them in you couldn't beat it, some call them redneck fuel injection, kinda makes me misty eyed

went and replaced all fuel lines, hoses, new tank & fuel pump. wag will be on the highway this winter and wanted to tighten everything up. would fire it up and drive about 15-20min and started to act...

spent some time/money on stopping the leaks and making it a little more reliable for highway driving. put mechanical gauges in because the dash gauges couldn't stay working. went down the highway...

you might want to check your fuel lines and see what condition they are in. if the hard lines are pinched it will restrict the flow when you are trying to accelerate but not show any problems at idle.

look ma no leaks

just finished replacing all of the engine gaskets, fuel lines and hoses. maybe it wont mark its spot anymore. had to search a little bit to find fuel hose for a '79 ended up using hose for a gas...
