I have done exactly this on my old '79 Wagoneer. Just need to chop the frame extensions off and drill a couple holes in the cross member to fit the three piece bumper.

You might also check your engine and trans mounts. The PO might have had an issue with it popping out of gear due to worn engine/trans mounts and that was their "fix".

That "pin" is not a pin, it is part of the fastener. There is a bit called a "Tamper Proof Torx" bit that you will need to remove the fasteners.

Everything does these days. My old neighbor bought a new car in Lemoore and it had a giant Prop65 sticker on the driver side window that was a real pain to remove. Ridiculous.

That's perfect! Thanks, Flint! I had a '76 Jimmy a few years ago with Fox Body Mustang seats in it. I liked them quite a bit. Those seats look like they'll work just fine, too. Very nice!
