The WT CJ axle are 5 inches narrower than your FSJ and they wont work. Mosser certainly could cut you some custom axles but the cheapest route is to have wheel adapter. Get the 6x5.5 to 5x5.5

The AX15 wil handle the torque and weight without any doubt. If you were doing frequent heavy towing, Id monitor the trans temperature and add a cooler/pump if it was getting hot.

Either or both of those capped lines now that youve plugged them in could be bleeding off vacuum. The PV diaphram maybe bad and thats why it was capped. The PCV ball maybe stuck and was capped off....
