According to the measurement specs I saw, the sizes are correct. I'm assuming the J10 springs will ride harder? The spring rate will affect the ride height, but by how much?

Possibly the hazard flasher is shorted. If you track what caused the fuses to blow, you will most likely have found the lamp problem, also.

Is the idle speed high enough? More rpms mean lower vacuum, but too low rpms can do the same thing.
