Just an observation here, but as I work in Laughlin, NV., during the summer months the SOCAL people with their HUGE boats come visit being towed by their HUGE trucks with higher lifts and much bigger...

While it's rolling and squeaking, put it in neutral and turn off the engine. If the squeaking continues, check your brakes and bearings; if it stops, look under the hood.

'77 401 has the MC 4350, which is a spreadbore. The secondaries are larger than the primaries, similar, but not the same, as a Rochester Qjet.

Took my J-10 through a water puddle once. Water splashed up from the tires and drowned the alternator (which sits low) and killed the ignition. Left me "dead in the water" (pun intended).

My Son lives in 'Vegas. He used a friends' address in Laughlin to register his truck there, no smog check. Only problem is the two different addresses 'tween the registration and D/L (minor issue).
