I have just regular ole bolts on both my GWs.
88 even has headers, no leaks, have stayed tight, etc.
I do recall back in 2005 a couple bolts broke on removal.
The hollow bolts made for super simple...

Yanked all 50+yr old wiring not going to use any of it.
Old 3 on tree manual column is also out and will be replaced with more modern one. Also clutch pedal assembly removed.

On the 77 I had way back when(with a factory warn setup) the stock brackets were pretty wimpy.

Yes, the entire air pump system can go in trash where it belongs with a Howell. EGR & Vapor can is a must for testing.
CA testing is similar to CO...Here in CA you must retain a factory type exhaust...

I have never needed to use them but did talk to the owner about installing bushings in a TBI with a loose throttle...
