we used carquest & napa bulk fuel hose on my dad's 79...wasn't expensive.

Ran both a QT and a D20 without issues.
Finding a donor rig was pretty cheap and easy.
Was basically free upgrade after selling...

Old plastic and poor design + 30yrs = problematic.
I have always converted them to the more modern weatherpak style.

I have personally sold them very easily for $150 a pop locally.
These were ones with good flares.

They don't always exhibit typical bearing growl and bearing noise can travel/be deceiving.

I know folks in CO that have passed with inoperable smog pump air systems.
Even in CA they don't test the smog pump is...

Left or right side but never both sides..

Usually front one is right behind the shock tower on top of rail.
You will not be able to view them...

For rear lift springs I have always used a jack...

For rear lift springs I have always used a jack and blocks wood.
This "flattens" them a bit and allows you to get bolts in.
They are shorter due to the added arch.
