You'll need 7/8" spacer and longer mounting...

You'll need 7/8" spacer and longer mounting studs because the earlier Tcase input shaft sticks out further than the later NV231/241

Yes, Im interested in this also. Would a new set of TJ/MJ front belts work in our FSJs? You can get those cheap online or find them in a salvage yard.

Death Wooble-- check the condition of all the joints. If they are good, then it is the Caster/toe-in adjustments. The Toe-in should be 1/4"-0" but never pasitive and the Caster needs to be 7-2...

The bolt pattern to mount it to the fly wheel is different than a Mopar. Also, the stock stall is 1300 rpm. A 2000 stall is a B&M/TCI high stall model.

A NP231 is almost a bolt-in. Plus, you can get 4:1 gears, compound gear boxes, SYE. A NP241 has a slightly wider chain for heavier use and has all the goodies available
