Well, the Crown Vic is still pretty close to old steel cars. It's not a unibody, it's body on frame, it's huge, about 212" long, it's weighs a ton.

It's not like getting into an accident with a...

One big plus is that the car is still under factory warranty for about 14k more miles, so I'm covered for at least another year before any problems become mine.

That gives me time to look for a...

Yeah, I'm glad I wasn't in the...

After crashing my Crown Vic, the Grand comes through again!

OK, so last Friday on my way to work I t-boned an Explorer with my Crown Vic, which wasn't my fault by the way. I was travelling east down a major road with the right of way, and this 77yr old...

You need to use a diode, I can't see a resistor solving this problem, I wouldn't attempt to use one. A resisitor will just add resistance in the circuit, which you don't want. Use a diode.

A diode...

With a 2" spring lift and a 1" body lift, you shouldn't rub much if at all. I've never rubbed with the 4" lift.

I cruised mine around for quite a while with 31's and no lift and it was fine on the...

OK, I just found some on Checker Auto's website. They have rebuilt ones with a lifetime warranty, and oddly enough, one with a heated windshield is quite a bit cheaper than without it. What's...

I have an MSD 6A, and I didn't use the suppression thing on the TFI coil and the only time I get noise in my stereo system is on AM when going under an over pass.
