I can tell you for a fact that a ford np435 and np205 combo will go behind a 258 with the right bellhousing,clutch disk and pilot bushing.If you need pics or measurements let me know via pm.

I've got a 83 J10 I just put a set for a 1983...

I've got a 83 J10 I just put a set for a 1983 chevy G20 van on after adding more lift.They are alot longer than 4 inch tho.

I know it will work with the stock chevy ones but you have to run a small spacer to even everthing out I did it on mine.I'll try to get you some pics tonight.
