That is not a bad price. I see them on ebay for close to that but the old ones are so fragile. Good point about the motor mounts btw.

Where and how would I fuse the choke wire? There was already a PO meltdown in my fuse box. I thought it was the sun roof as its' hot wire was melted but maybe not.

I ended up pulling that piece out because it kept moving and blocking the choke rod. Choke works great now.

I am trying to remove the antennae so I can sand and paint my cowl. Do I have to remove the fender to pull out the cable? It won't budge when I pull on it from the outside. Thanks.

On my '90 I found that the two vacum hoses on the vacum module beside the gas pedal and behind the AC plennum were installed backwards. I swapped them and now I have defrost and heat.

Bad thermostat maybe? I had a problem with mine after I changed it. A friend told me to try a new one. I did and it worked fine. Bad out of the box. Sounds like the only thing you changed?

I used a metal spackling blade to remove it from a P&P and then used the thin 3M two sided tape to reinstall. I ordered the rivet plugs from BJ's I think.
