Try earlier model part?

My 75 has a large hollow SS nut with 2 smaller SS nozzle-type nuts. Same rubber line feed to the large nut. It seems much stronger than the later model bent tubing.

Perhaps that?

My dad installed a 3" lift (in the early 80s?) on my 76. It has Rancho shocks and I believe the entire kit may have been from Rancho. I still am running them today. Don't know if it helps.

It's been over 20 years but I swapped buckets for a bench in my '77 Cherokee Chief. I remember sitting higher with the bench but not necessarily closer.
