I would do it and it would ship cheaper but I have to balance what goes out for free versus parts that TT's needs to sell.

I bet you are just a full turn of the steering wheel out of adjustment at the drag link. I've never had to pull the steering wheel to adjust for this but I have adjusted the drag link the wrong way...
