The ACDelcos appear to be nearly exact matches for the OEM. The castings look very similar, and even appear to have the grease zerks in the same location.

I think even in the US that filter isn't going to be very cheap or easy to get (unless you order them, which requires bulk purchasing to make it worth it) all for a mediocre filter.

I personally have done the set it to about 14 and then make sure it doesn't ping on the highway. I use manifold vacuum to vacuum advance. If it does ping you need to analyze under what conditions....
