Hummm....the low range unit clearly had a slot but it wasn't so clear on the 2/4wd fork. Maybe I wasn't looking at it right. I'll crack it back open tonight if all goes well and post back my findings...

If it's a part-time (2wd on the shifter) case, then the front lock-right will be completely transparent in 2WD. If you use 4HI on the street, it feels pretty funky...

Just get some 1/2-ton suburban springs. You may end up having to move your mount points forward or backward but they're easy to find and known to work well off road.
