I write a long post in Word or Notepad or sumsuch and paste it. Easy to fix and/or repaste and it never get lost half way through it.

Nutin wrong with that method. Only thing different I do is tape the joints on the other side too.

Try it again before using it. Might absorb moisture and get bigger or the opposite.

That number seems right but I'll have to check. It's butyl that you want NOT urethane.

According to my gen-u-wine Jeep manual it goes in both the body and glass grooves.

I can see getting it out without removing the windshield but getting the bolts back in with it and the gasket in place would be a beal rich.

One wonders if the pad front edge was cut around the dash...

Don't forget to make a drip loop in the cowl where the cable enters the inside. You want the cable running uphill when it goes through the wall so water doesn't run down it into the cabin.

There's a row of nuts across the rear lip of the dash and two on each side. If it's a Wag there's two more on the left side of the pad in front of the passenger.

I think that's all. Feel around back...

(60+10)x=60y

(70/60)x= y

Where x = # of teeth you've got now, y = what you want
