Pssh. That's nothing. Try removing the price stickers from Ross stores. They're scored with patterns so the come off in twenty pieces leaving the adhesive a layer of paper.

Idunno about welding the holes. Isn't the tank plated with lead or a lead alloy? My tank's plastic but other steel tanks I've messed with were. If so maybe solder instead?
