Excellent! Now you know 100% that it's not fuel starved. So given that the truck needs three things to run: Air, Gas and Spark you're down to spark.

Easiest thing is to swap out the ignition...

Mine was plumbed along the passenger side frame...

Mine was plumbed along the passenger side frame rail, both pipes side by side. The cats were staggered as were the mufflers.

Not much to add here other than to say it does sound like there's a vacuum issue (I've had it before where the Jeep idles just fine and dies when you put it in gear) and...

never ever use starter...
