New Guy from Ovid, Colorado

Greetings IFSJA members! So after 43 years on this rock, I finally bought my first Jeep - 1966 Gladiator J2000. I've been reading a ton on this forum, it is extremely helpful and I thank you all for your guidance. She starts fine and runs but I want my guy to go through it really well and give me a list of the bad so I can prioritize and get her happy so she's reliable.:drivin:

:worthless:
I know, I know, I'll post pics of her once I get her back from my mechanic.

Update - got pics today

Well here she is, 1966 J2000 Gladiator Townside original paint Spruce Tip Green. Working to rebuild starter now, she fires right up when cold, but after she's warm that starter is pretty flat:(

Anyhow, it'll be a fun “little” project. Already giddy to get her exhaust replaced next, gonna keep it low key, perhaps just open her up a bit. Will go with turbo mufflers to keep her purrin':drivin:

Without further ado:
