    lift option

guys, i installed new USA stock springs on my 89 GW currently have 235 75 r15 tires looks great but id like to get a 31 " tire on it so i should have bought the 2-1/2" lift springs what are my options to fit the 31's? without changing out the springs again? Can I fit 31" tires i dont off- road this jeep i have others to do that with. just like the look.

    Hi David,
I have 31" on my chief and they look to small.
    I would get on 33".
    (Have seen a chief with 37" :-)
In germany a got the tip to go to a "spring smith" to give the stock springs more curve and therefore more lift.

You can add a FSSR 2.5" lift that uses your current springs. Also, look on my site for other Lift accessories such as the front receiver tube:

If you have a chief, I assume it's wide track (most are). Our WT Fender wells are MUCH bigger than a NT and can fit much bigger tires.

Exactly whole different beast. I am running 32x11.50s with no rubbing except at full flex in the rear it would kiss inner fender just enough to scuff under coating on the inside wheel well.

                Yes it is a WT.
Will go to 33 with the shackle from rocklaurence or giving my springs a better curve.
