My 77 Cherokee has a pair of brackets on the tranny hump under the dash that appear to be mounts for a console. I have never seen a console in a FSJ except for the Super Wagoneers. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Way too beefy for just a CB, and AMC had a factory CB incorporated into their in-dash radio.Cliff Danley
