What the heck is this?
 

While removing a bunch of PO installed wiring, I found it under the dash, velcro on one side and it looked like it was plugged into the harness in the other picture.

Google said it was a 'Intermittent Wiper Relay'
It controls the intermittent part of the wiper and also turns the wipers on when you hit the washer switch.

What year is yours?

It's 1986. Thanks everyone, I googled the number last night and only
came up with three results. None of them referenced what the box actually was.

Not sure about stuff in front of number, maybe it's aftermarket? or from diff vehicle?

The posts I read were about Jeep XJ's. I'll have to check my XJ, it be nice to now if the part can be used.

I had suggested at one time, a pinned post of parts that cross from other vehicles and manufactures. I have noticed the front dome light matched the one in my dad's 1992 Ford pickup. Just list stuff like that.

XJ's use the same box as GW's, I have one from an XJ in my '90.
