Ummmm....how much $$ you got? I am closer, and could be persuaded...you do realize that you will need:
-new brake lines
-extended driveline
-New u-bolts
-New perches
-Some form of hi-steering (new knuckles, hi-steer arm, spacer block, new drag link

Don't tempt me Jode, i'd have to start collecting what i need over time, to much to buy at once i think, or what the gal would allow. sure wish i had a list of exatcly what to collect so i could get a start. after playin in the mud yesterday i saw the deep stuff and now i want at least 34's on my jeep or bigger? i,m gettin good at draging the diferentials in the mud lol, and since i no longer have any fluid leaks,its on the other things i wana do to my jeep. maybe a tad rack? gal likes em'!

$60-80 for a hi steer arm
$100 for a new draglink
$15-20??? New steering arm spacer
$180 for Todds rear shackle inversion
$560 for some 35" tires
$500-1,000 for a shop to regear your axles
$50-100 welding shop's fee - or find a friend
Free - fender trimming

All prices EXTREMELY approximate - I just threw out numbers off the top of my head. ANyway, that puts you right around $1,000-1,200 before you get regeared.

So there's the list - start buying parts with that tax return! :D

yeah we'll lift anyone's jeep for them, we try and help out the FSJ community as much as possible especially in the wheelin' department. :D

guess i better start collectin' them parts..and i guess i might need longer shocks and new rims for tires as well in that list. maybe late summer or next tax time the latest..we shall see, but i'm set on getting it done some time.

good call on the shocks - you might could make your existing rims work - especially if you get 34X9.5 LTBs or something

hey guys what parts do you think i would need. my 82 j-10 has 35" tires gearing is set and and i have a 4 inch suspension lift (blocks). i would like to go soa. would i need longer drivelines and brake lines? where do you get the modified stearing linkage that you need with a soa?

Steering modification parts are easily shopped for on Ebay.

i took a look at ebay. found cj steering parts but nothing for a j10. any idea what search terms i should be using?

$135 ES3000 Procomp shocks and ES2000 stabilizer from 4wheelparts

Full high-steer $341 Shipped Includes:
2 Reconditioned Chevy flat-tops, 2 1" spacers, 2 sets of 4" studs with all hardware, 2 1" cold rolled steering arms. Would cost half that if you just go with cross-over steering.

$175 Extended and balanced front drive shaft. Subtract $50 if you dont need it balanced. Or, find someone with a shaft they want to give up off a FSJ w/6 cyl. that shaft is 2 or 3 inches longer and bolts on (I have been told) Not everyone needs this either, I did, but others have been fine. Rear shaft should be fine.

Wheels $? your call. You can safely go with a tire +4" over your wheel size, so if you have 8" wheels you can get a 12" tire and be fine..

Tire's $? again your call. $100 for used or $1200 expensive new ones

Grand total with X-over steering and no drive shaft..... only $735

With Full high-steer and balanced drive shaft.... $1080

Plus tires and wheels if you need them...
