Hello from Orygun... I have been reading up on this site and like it better than anything I have found on the net regarding FSJ's yet. I thought I would join up. I have had for about 6 years now a 1969 wagoneer custom. Buick 350, TH 400, Xfer is the dana 20. I did narrow a 35 spline Dana 60 for the back, and the Dana 27 front came out for a disk brake dana 44. 3:54 gears. I am currently tearing this rig apart and rebuilding it. Moderate rust repair, one rocker replacement thanks to the rubicon, and I am considering a Buick 455 motor replacement. I also own (can I say it?) a CJ 5, and a bone stock M715. I look forward to learning from this forum. I go by kaiserjeeps... but my name is Al...

Welcome to the Forum!! Posting of pictures is required when new members join and own a M715. I also need your City, State, Street Address, as well as Days and hours not home and where M715 may be parked if not at above address. Keys left under drivers seat would be helpful but not required. :D :D

WOW! What a welcome! Thank you..I live in Portland for those of you that were asking... I do have some pictures of my wag, but I'm not sure where to post them.. I'm probably going to act like a newby for a bit. I assume you reply to messages by clicking on the quote marks. It's early and I'm not a morning person... I also have some pictures of my M715. I can see I will have to build a camo garage to hide it in...Ha ha... I'll get up to speed here soon and ditch my training wheels. In the mean time take care all and I was truely dumbfounded at the amount of hello's. THX again!...Kaiserjeeps...(Al).

To post a picture you first have to upload it to a website that allows picture hosting, I use www.fullsizejeeps.com (http://www.fullsizejeeps.com) it is run by a forum member. Then you have to either post a link to the pictures in your post or use the IMAGE button when posting to put the image in your post. There are plenty of people around here that will be happy to help you out, just ask :D

OK I'm awake now for the most part and I am stumped on something. I tried to post a pic at fullsizejeeps.com site and after telling it where to look for my picture and hitting the upload button it tells me to pick a file. For the life of me I can't find where to do this. I can usually figure this stuff out, but I have to ask for help on this one. I would like to post pics of my 715 and my wag. Oh yea, Hi to Krob725, he helped me out with a heater manual over at the zone. Good to see a few of the zone members over here. Thanks for your help...

kaiserjeeps, on the avatar...

once you've uploaded the pic and everything looks good, you then need to view it...

just select the file name and look at it like any other joe surfing the pics..
then copy the address at the top of the window...
once you return to "my Profile", paste that address... then update...

all your posts will be updated with your new avatar...

(hope i got that right.....?)

Hmm... After you tell it where to upload, it tells you to pick a picture? Hmmm... Should work... Maybe a Refresh in the browser window?

Should just hit the Browse button, highlight the photo, hit the Okay, then the Upload button...

You'll have to wait until 25 posts I think for the avatar...

TimK, I don't think he is trying to get an avatar to work (he doesn't have enough posts anyway) He just wants host pics of rigs so that we can all look at them smile.gif

Al, after you register/login at the bottom of the page there is the box to upload files. Click on the browse button and find your file on your computer and click ok. Then enter a description and click on the Upload File button. That should do it.
