I've been thinking that I want to buy a riding lawn mower. I remember last year, when I bought a Deere RX 70 model, I wouldn't fit it in my Mom's 1997 Mercury Mountaineer. My 1995 Ford Club wagon is down so I was just wondering if it would fit in my 1977 Wagoneer? Have you tried fitting one in your FSJ and if so, which model? Note that this is for Wagoneer/Cherokees. We all know that it will fit in an open bed J truck/Gladiator :).

Good way to add traction in the rear for the winter...

Measure between the wheel wells and the distance from top to bottom of the tailgate opening; then take the tape with you to measure the mower. You might have to take the deck off of it...
I go to Uhaul and rent a trailer myself... if I didn't already have one!

Good recommendation. A trailer is about $10-$20 per day. Well worth it to keep your rear carpet nice, even if the mower DID fit. I doubt it would be easy to get in there, too
Everyone should own a liftgate truck. To take my riding mower to the shop, I just use this:
