Factory Service Manual-HELP!

I want to buy a factory service manual for my 84' GW.....the problem is this: I don't know what the factory model numbers are. Does anyone? Is it the MR 244? Please advise! I don't want to buy a manual for my GW that only is for the 'little jeeps'

the '91 manual i bought had the little jeeps, comanche trucks and GW's all in one set(seperated into 3 volumes for the different autmotive systems.) not sure if it helps but that is what was involved with mine

I got my T.S.M. from Turner 4WD parts, they are located in Roswell,Ga the phone# is 770-992-1181 or 800-843-5337. I really like the tsm because it has pictures and explains in detail how to do just about anything on a FSJ. They are a little expensive but well worth the help they supply. You can check them out on the web also. M.G.

No Ryan the MR244 is for the little Wags and Cheros.
The main manual for 84 FSJ's is the MR 253 but you'll need the supplements to get a complete manual for 1984.

Main manual MR 253
Body = MR 256
258 Motor = MOT I-6
Auto trans = T.A. 700-900
Electrical = don't know those numbers
Servic Specs = Maint Specs
