I see alot of peoples talking about using 35x12.5 x 16 tires on J-series trucks..I think that with 2" body and 3" suspension lift the tires will work but I am worried about clearing the springs without having to use spacers...Are there any J-truck owners with 35's who can give me wheel brand and model and other specifics so I don't have to experiment with this???

All ya gotta do is get a rim with a 1 or 2 inch backspacing on it, they'll stick outward so the tire wont meet the spring.
I've got a 4 inch lift on mine and I'm not comfortable with fitting 35's in there being that they'll be REALLY close to touching, if not touching the flares. Then you gotta think about flexing. You hit a bump and <crunch> there's that tire getting friendly with the flare. You're only going one inch higher than what I've got.. I wouldn't recommend it. At minimum, a 4 inch lift and a 3-inch body.. even then it might touch at wild flex.
