Changing clutch on 176 got questions?

Im putting a new tcase on this week and was wondering if the tranny comes off pretty easy with the tcase already off. Are there any trick or things to look out for when changing the clutch? Thanks Dennis

I would sepperate the Trany and T-Case. this would give you a good chance to replace the seal and gasket. Also makes handling it a lot easier. When you go to replace the clutch it is a good idea to resurface the flywheel and new pressure plate and disc as well as release bearing. You should also check the pilot bushing in the end of the crank be sure it is still in good shape, usually are. Buy the Kit it comes with a Clutch Aligning Tool. Good Luck!! ;)
