Ok I want to lift my jeep 6 inches using a 6 inch custom rear springs and Rusty six inch front springs (does he sell seperate?). Ok what other things do i have to do this like drive train vibration and drop pitman arm. What about my drive shaft? I want to fit 35s on my jeep and it is a N/T. Will I have ot do a body lift too? I am not turning this into a rock crawler or anything so articulation is not a problem. This will mainly be used for trail and mud. Will my stock aluminum wheels handle 35s? If not I am going to buy some of the black rockcrawler wheels from 4wheelparts.com.

Onto the carpet kits. I want a kit that is molded and will cover the front and rear with the wheel walls covered also. I saw some on ebay and I am not sure if they cover everything. thanks for the help

I am sure Rusty will sell the springs separate.
Drop Pitman is good idea
shouldn't need any driveline mods
You will need extended brakelines (you can use the stock ones from a '77 chevy suburban or blazer ...they are longer than the Jeep stock ones, but still fit right..)
Personally, I doubt that you will fit 35s (without trimming) ...unless you never leave the street....I know you siad you aren't rock crawling, but even trail riding articulates the axles a little and I think your tires will contact the front edge of you r rear wheelwells...This problem may be exacerbated by the fact that you are running a 35 on a stock rim. Trimming (as opposed to a body lift) may be your best option (depending on your preferences) as 8-9" of total lift is really getting up there. :D

If need be I will run 33's. Or a 2 inch body lift with this spring lift. I might just run 33's with the 6 inch spring lift and 2 inch body lift ot get some clearance cause I might do a little bit of rockcrawling later. I am glad I dont have to get into the drive shafts or anything like that right now. I knew I would need the drop pitman I just needed a little reasurance smile.gif I guess I will look for that year brake lines too. Thanks

with the 6" lift you should be able to stuff 35's under there, might want to go up to the 3" body lift though, as the 2" might not give you enough clearance.

I have rusty's 4" installed on mine, with a 3" body lift and the 33's rub a tiny bit at full flex.

If you chop off the fender flare, and use the body lift of your choice, you will not rub with 35's. I have the 4 inch spring, 3 inch body, and I have removed the flare front and rear(4 inches) and I haven't rubbed yet. -OR- depending on your fab skills, you could skip the body lift and chop the heck out of the body nad fab new rear wheel wells. If you want pics of what mine looks like, drop me a note.

I have Rusty's 6" lift, NO body lift and 35's. I have not trimed fenders yet. I rub only in the rear with very big bumps on road. Off road...you will need to trim, however I dont think a body lift will be neccessary.

Now for the bad news....you will have front drive line vibes...no question about it. Most people can correct it with a new high angle drive shaft (about $250). I should point out that the new drive shaft will only correct enough that the vibes go away.

If you want to point the front pinion right at the transfer case's output....well it's cut and rotate your knuckles time. :( $$. The reason for this would be to restore the full life expectancy of your front drive shaft components
