As some of you know, I have lousy brakes now that I have my new engine in. Not enough vacuum due to cam. I thought I'd let you guys know that I found a part # for a vacuum pump to eliminate this problem. AC Delco #215-119 . It sells for $120. + tx. Some units I've seen sell for as much as $300. I'm going to check at pick a part for a used unit off some old cars and see if any of these present an option as well. Just thought I'd let you know. For those of us with auto trannies I think it is a good idea to run this even if the brakes work ok off manifold vacuum . If it stalls on a hill you're in trouble with no booster back-up to the master cyl.
