Base Timing

i have a new 360 block for the wag.I put in a summit cam and timing chain, i am putting on an edelbrock intake and 1406 carb.I am also going to do the TFI upgrade.Does anyone have any suggestions for what the base timing should be set at to start with?

I would suggest about 10 to 12 degrees BTDC. I ended up at 13, then pulled back to 12 because I was picking up some ping. I run the 1406 on a non egr Edelbrock intake, no cto's or "extra" vacuum stuff, stock cam, stock ignition. :cool:
