Yeah I couldn't pass up a $200 jeep. The only thing that stinks about it is the 230 OHC. I would like to do a 360 or 401 swap. How hard is this to achieve? I don't know much about this truck. any info would be appreciated. It has dual gas tanks which is kinda neat. :D

Ya know jman I've never been what you'd call the "jealous type", but in this case Im not ashamed to admit it. Nice acquisition at a great price man...now, I wanna hear the story about how you came to find it????

Did they toss in the cool white/green aerodynamic camper to go with it? Looks like someone has accumulated a lot of "stuff"!

Hope the underside has not become one with the mud..

I think I would stick with the 230 Tornado and the stick shift just because it is cool. A little work on that baby and I am sure you can get 150 ponies out of it. And that valve cover is sexy! Just ask the girls.

Engine hoist is right there next to the truck..you could pull it, freshen it up, drop it back in and drive that sucker home

Welcome to the group!

Well I was looking on my local craigslist and it popped up as Jeep P/U $200 so I called them. It turned out to be an older woman that used to rent out storage units and someone stopped paying her about 10 years ago to keep to truck there so she sold it to me :D .

So shes been cleaning out the old storage yard and there is all kinds of old jeeps out there. I saw 4 Willys wagons and a willys FC-150 out there.

It hasn't been easy getting the pink slip from the DMV cause she only gave me a bill of sale

Yeah I actually just called AAA and they had a flat bed out there in 15 minutes he used his winch and dragged that sucker on the truck. The only issue we had with it was the steering is bent so it wont turn.:banghead:

Probably not much rust from CA.

U definately hit a home run, Rino grill is worth your purchase price.

Wraparound bumper..

Once U get it running doesn't need much but paint job.

Custom cab !
