I have the stock 3.07s in my Wag with the 33s on it. It runs pretty good off the line with the stout 401 and all the accessories but it definitely seems like it needs more. What gear would be a good choice for 33" tires? Is there a chart somewhere? I believe it runs about 2500 rpm at about 65 (according to the speedo that may not be right to begin with).

This might help you some.

Also with those gears you have you would need 3.54's to get you back to stock gearing. You will still have some trouble with power with that gearing though. 3.73 would be a good gear for mileage and keeping some performance.

It just so happens that I have some 3.54s for sale, with carriers and installation kits. I got 'em from River Beast about two years ago and never installed them. Are you interested? I don't have email right now (using friend's computer) so either post here or call me at (334)322-8222.
BTW, I'm in Montgomery, Alabama

If you aren't going to get bigger tires and more lift eventually, i would go with 3.73 or 4.10. If you are going to go bigger later, I would go with 4.56. I know it is deep for 33's, but when you want to go with more lift and 36's, you will b glad. Gears are expensive, doing them twice sucks. The 3.54's should give u back stock performance, but off road, you will want lower, IMHO. I know this sounds funny coming from a fool running 33's with a tired 360 and 2.73's, but thats changing soon :D

I've got 4:88's to go with the 33's on mine. But I think you will like 4:11's or 4:56's in yours.
