Pulled the motor out today. Started stripping it down but ran out of day light. More pics soon. Then the buildup begins!

Looks like you're having fun.

I hope the wire that's holding up the engine was thicker than it looks in the picture. :eek:

Must be nice to do that sorta stuff outside this time of year.

Thats funny, I just spent the last 4 days taking one out of a donor and installing it into the wifes DD.
I got to start mine last night and it gave me goosebumps with only the Y-pipe installed.I replaced a 144K stocker with a 60K mildly built injected one. The computer was the hardest. Well, that and not having the right exhaust tools....:banghead:

If you look you can see where the pan was brazed back together after a rod tried to make it's way out. Some gouging along the bottom too.
