I know that this has been posted like a zillion times. But what are the preferred brand of spark plug wires for the TFI upgrade?

I'm not sure what the prefered wire is, but I just did the TFI upgrade and used the Motorcraft wires for the F-350 (460 motor). They look like a good quality wire and are 8mm. The results were immediately noticeable. Much smoother idle and easier starting...also passed emission, which I didn't do before the upgrade.BTW, got my wires and everything else for the upgrade from O'riely. Except for the rotor (they didn't have the brass one), had to get it from NAPA. I think the wires were about $45

8mm wires are recommended.
Here is the link to the parts list.

Autolite wires are 8.5MM and have a lifetime warrenty. Best of all they are under $30 at Advance Auto and get the ones for a 460 as the 351's are just a little short. These are custom fit and totally assembled so thee is no messing around and hold up very well.

I have been using the Taylor wires for years and love them....big benefit is the permanent end on the spark plug end...and you can get them straight,45 degrees or 90 degrees.check Summit......and don't be fooled by bigger number is better...8 mm is more than adequate for our type vehicles

I am with Veepster. I really like the Taylor wires. On piece set up. They literally snap into place each time. Great quality and I would not buy anything else. A bit pricy but I believe they would last much longer.
