My neigbor just did his 76 Scout with it...WOW!!!

The top is white as all heck!!! like a factory paintjob finish!!!

I LOVE IT!!! Rustproof and all!!! cost him $30 for the gallon and whatever the thiner cost. 5 to 1 mix and looks like glass!!! Hasn't even buffed it out yet!!

I think this is the route I will be taking after Ouray. ;) The same guy that sprayed his said he will do mine for me... I do all the prep work and the bay is $50

I didn't believe he was doing this... but once I saw the finished product I was astonished!!!

GARY.... iIM NOT PULLING YOUR LEG... I WILL KEEP YOU INFORMED OF THE PROGRESS...

THE WHITE ROOF IS FLAWLESS AND NEEDS NO BUFFING AT ALL... SMOOTH AS SILK... NO KIDDING.

I WILL FIND OUT WHAT (IF ANYTHING) THEY PUT INOT THE PAINT FOR A HARDENER.

LIKE I SAID... I WILL TAKE PICS WHEN IT'S DONE

Todd , I too have witnessed a "smooth as silk" rustoleum finish, My buddy did this with a CJ in gloss black.. Now I dont have an eye for show room finishes, but it looked immaculate to me.. He did use an expensive spayer with proper filters..

I must agree with GEM.I would not recommend this to anyone.I was ASE certified in automotive paint and body,RM certified and PPG certified among others, blah blah blah.I just don`t see how this will look like you say and hold a shine,oh and buffing ,is the paint even hard?
I COULD BE WRONG !!!!!!It has happened before.

Guys, I have to chime in w/ the naysayers. I did a Ford Van in a chocolate brown Rustoleum industrial grade paint. Sounds good huh? One summer in the not too hot Wyo sun and it looked like chalk. A nice quick fix but it isn't going to last. J20

I painted my truck a little over three years ago with enamel tractor paint. Still looks pretty good for a paint job done in the garage with a 3 horse compressor and a $30 paint gun. Uses naptha as a thinner, so wear a good respirator. Cost about $20 a gallon and you can get the same paint in a spray can for touch ups. Not a lot of color choices. John Deere green, Kubota orange, IH white, etc.
